Candy Chang is a public installation artist, urban planner, designer, and the co-founder of Civic Center, an urban design studio in New Orleans. She verbalizes relatable everyday issues of city life through her quirky designs on public spaces. Ultimately, her pursuit is the redefinition of "the ways we use public space to share information important to our neighbourhoods and to our individual well-being."
As of late, she has turned a facade of this abandoned house in New Orleans into an outlet for her community's dreams and ambitions - sort of a collective bucket list. It seems like this was exactly the kind of spirit uplifting the still recovering community needed, as the blanks overspilled within the first 24 hours.
