WHAT A BEAUTIFUL DAY

I could not have picked a better day off from work than today, the first day of ...dare I say it? Summer. Finally, here.
We also received our bixi passes in the mail today so we decided to put them to use right away, for those of you from Montréal you can see we strolled from the Crémazie area all the way to the Old Port!
I'm wearing my Marc by Marc sunnies, my favorite boatneck from François Beauregard, pink shorts from Buffalo, a vintage Lancel bag and Ferragamo maryjanes (they hurt).

STILL ON THE HUNT & I HATE BLOGGER

I've been unable to sign on to my blogger account for the past week for some reason and the only time I was able to do so was from work..but I have been uninterruptedly searching for my sandals! Here are some great ones from Stella, Chloé, Bernardo and Céline respectively...which ones do you prefer? My faves are the Céline beauties but they are a tad too high for daily use.

About Balmain's younger (and more affordable) diffusion range due out for spring/summer 2012? The line will debut in September at New York Fashion Week! Although Olivier Rousteing has taken over Decarnin's throne, it will be a separate new design team whom will take on this project eponymous to the label's founder.

IN SEARCH OF

A new pair of sandals for the warm trimester. I'm not really into the all flat stuff that's out there, not to sound like a granny, but it really takes a toll on the lower back after a while. The perfect pair of sandals that I'm looking for has little stacked heels, straps which wrap around the ankles and a single band which holds the foot at its dorsal. Kind of like these ones from Leifsdottir.

HOTEL DU CAP

Lundi dernier: Chanel Resort 2012. J'ai préféré la dernière collec, quoique celle-ci n'est pas mal - j'aime bien l'image de pastels sobres et de combis monochromes sur la French Riviera. La seule chose que j'ai à reprocher ce sont ces affreuses bottes à bout ouvert. Peut-être Karl voulait impliquer que le Chanel se porte bien même avec deux tibias plâtrés?

NEW IN

Today I got myself a little wittle present: these Marc by Marc Jacobs sunnies! They are the perfect shape for my face, not to mention they are such a "classic with a twist"! And by twist I mean the subtle cat-eye that adds the touch of girlyness to an otherwise classic model.

NOT MY STYLE

...but these babies are amazing! I can totally see Kate Lanphear (or the such) rocking them.

A DEBUT

Today I come bearing news - highly exciting news that has helped me in the latest end-of-semester battlefield, giving me the much needed final boost of motivation to labour me to the finish line (my undergrad!) As you may have seen in one of my previous posts, I was in search of an internship that would seal off my bachelor's degree. I was honored to be approached by 2 great opportunities with each their perks, but one of them genuinely ideated my dream job - it was too good to pass up on!

Therefore, I will be interning at Holt Renfrew for the summer, starting this wednesday! I still cannot believe I scored such an amazing debut and I feel really lucky!
